Nicholas Mark A'Hern ( born Nicholas Mark A'Hern ; born January 6, 1969 , Swansea , UK ) is an Australian track and field athlete, participant in the three summer Olympic Games, two-time Commonwealth Games champion, multiple Australian champion.

Sports Biography
At the Summer Olympics, Nicholas A'Hern made his debut in 1992 at the Barcelona Games . At a 20-kilometer distance, the Australian athlete showed a result of 1:31:39 and took only 22nd place. At the 1995 World Cup, Nicholas showed his best result in world championships. In walking for 20 km, the Australian walker took 11th place. In the same year, A'Hern received a leg injury and had to have an operation on his sore leg, which could prevent the athlete from performing at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
But by the start of the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, A'Hern was able to recover and competed at a distance of 20 km. Throughout the race, Nicholas stayed in the leading group, and two kilometers before the end of the race went in second place, but the Australian came to the finish line only fourth, losing just a little to the three winners.
At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, A'Hern participated in a 20 km walk. The Australian walker could not repeat the result of four years ago and took only 10th place, having covered the distance in 1:21:34. After the end of the Olympic Games he completed his sports career.
The biggest successes in A'Hern's career were two victories at the Commonwealth Games in 1994 and 1998.
