Burnakovo is a village in the Shashkovsky rural administration of the Nazarovsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .

The village is located on the left bank of the Zhydogost River, north of the Shashkovo - Tutaev highway . On the opposite left bank stands the village of Demidovo . Upstream are the villages of Kulikovo (on the opposite bank), and Paulino (on the same bank). Below on the opposite bank is the village of Petryaevo , which stands at the mouth of the nameless right tributary [2] .
The Burnakovo belonged to the Ushakov family, the naval commander Fedor Fedorovich Ushakov was born in it.
The village of Burnakova is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of Romanovsky County in 1790. After the unification of counties in 1822, Burnakovo belonged to the Romanovo-Borisoglebsky district [3] .
As of January 1, 2007, there were no permanent residents in the village [4] . The Shashkovo post office serves 7 houses in the village of Burnakovo [5] .
