Phyllodoce nipponica ( Latin: Phyllodoce nipponica ) is a species of flowering plants of the genus Phyllodoce ( Phyllodoce ) of the Heather family ( Ericaceae ). Some sources do not distinguish this species [2] .

Botanical Description
A low open bush up to 15 cm high. Shoots are more or less covered with small (5-10 mm long), linear, serrate, dark green leaves . The flowers are drooping, bell-shaped, about 6 mm long and wide, white with a pinkish tint, located at the ends of the shoots, bloom in May-June or from June to August.
Distribution
It grows naturally in Northern Japan ( Honshu , Shikoku Islands).
Economic Significance and Application
In culture, the species has been known since 1915. It is cultivated mainly by English and German gardeners.
