Prince mackaroo

Ojarumaru ( お じ ゃ る 丸 Ojaru-maru ) is a manga authored by Rin Inumaru. It was first published by Shogakukan in the monthly Ciao magazine in 1993 . In 2011, the manga was reprinted by Shueisha for publication in Saikyo Jump magazine.

Based on the manga, Gallop Studios released an anime series in 1998 . The series continues to be released, and over 1300 anime episodes have been released to date. The series Ojarumaru is in 10th place in terms of the number of episodes released after: Sazae-san , Doraemon , Anpanman , Crayon Shin-chan , Nintama Rantaro , Oyako Club , Chibi Maruko-chan , Case Closed and Pokemon . It is also duplicated in English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Tagalog.

The series received the award for best animation at the Japanese festival Media Arts Festival in 1999 [1] .

On September 10, 2006, comic book author Rin Inumaru committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor from the window of her apartment. She left a suicide note for her mother, in which she made it clear that she had been stressed for too long because of her work [2] .

Content

Story

The action takes place around the 5-year-old prince, who came from the Heiyang era to modern Japan . He is also accompanied by a firefly and three demons Oni . The main character has to adapt to a new lifestyle in a new society for him.

International

  • In Spain, the series is dubbed in Spanish called El príncipe Mackaroo
  • In Italy, the series is dubbed in Italian and broadcast on Italia 1 under the name Ma che principe sei?
  • In the USA, the series and TV films are licensed by Enoki Films , but there is still no dubbed translation.
  • In Taiwan, the series is dubbed in Chinese called Fang Dou Hiao Wangzi (反 斗 小 王子)
  • In India, the series is dubbed in Indian and broadcast on Hungama TV . The name has not been changed.
  • In the Philippines, the series is dubbed in Tagalog and is broadcast on QTV Channel 11 and TV5 under the name Prince Mackaroo .
