Cook, David Charles

David Charles Cook is a karate master, holder of the Soke title, and author of the very popular Kyokushin book in Russia - Strength of Karate. He practiced sports almost all his life, and began karate from the age of 22 with the Kyokushin style; He also studied the techniques of Shotokan and Wing-chun , later became a student of Masutatsu Oyama . In 1985, already being a Kyokushin master, Cook met Hideyuki Asihara and began to master a new karate system, which attracted him with the lack of "ossification" inherent in classical karate. By the end of the year, having reached the fifth Dan, he receives an offer to develop Asihara Karate in Europe . The result of this activity was the intensive development of Asihara-karate and the creation of a large IBK organization [1] . Later, from the ideas of the development of integrated martial art, David Cook created the Tsu Sin Geng organization (TSG), which he has been developing to this day.

It should be noted that the activities of Soke Kuka in the development of Asihara-karate have generated a fairly large organization segregated from the Japanese Ashihara-karate Hombu and currently AIKO (European Asihara-karate), and the International Association Tsu Shin Gen, on the one hand, and NIKO (Japanese Asihara-karate) karate) on the other, do not cooperate with each other. The name of this person is inextricably linked to the stage of formation of AsTsuihara karate in Russia from 1991 to 1995, as well as to the new Mix-Fight Tsu Sin Geng system from 2002 to the present.
