Cape Voronin is the most prominent point of the Mawson Peninsula ( East Antarctica ). Located in the northern part of the peninsula. Named in honor of Vladimir Voronin .

On January 19, 1840, Lieutenant William Leverret Hudson (1794–1862), a member of the American expedition (1838–1842) under the guidance of a polar explorer Charles Wilks , saw the land near the cape. Wilkes’s maps are labeled Cape Hudson.
