Potapov, Mikhail Mikhailovich (football player)

He played the position of midfielder in the teams of SKA (Khabarovsk) , Uralmash , and Tekstilshchik. In total, he played 487 games in the national championships, of which 172 played in the First Soviet League and 315 matches in the Second.

Textile Worker (Ivanovo)

Mikhail Potapov dedicated most of his life to the Ivanovo Textile Worker. He played for him as a football player from 1971 to 1978. In 1972, he took part in two games of the team with Dynamo Kyiv in the 1/16 cup of the USSR Cup. In the first match, Potapov scored with a goal scored ^[1] .

After completing his career, he spent 3 years in the coaching staff of the team. He worked as a coach of the Sports School "Textilschik", where he headed a group of sports improvement, speaking as a youth team of "Tekstilshchik". At the same time, he was the head coach of the Ivanovo truck crane plant team. Her Potapov twice led to victory in the championship of the Ivanovo region .

In 1999, after “Tekstilshchik” could not appear in professional football, Mikhail Potapov organized the club of FC “Ivanovo”, which began to speak at the KFK championship and became the successor of the team’s history. In 2001, she received the name "Tekstilshchik." A year later, he managed to return the place to the club in professional football. ^[2]

Then, Mikhail Potapov worked at Textile Worker at various posts. Since 2007, he has served as the team administrator. Now in the club, he oversees the activities of the youth and youth teams "Tekstilshchik."

In 1968 he graduated from the branch of the Omsk Institute of Physical Education of the Higher School of Coaches. Potapov also graduated from Ivanovo Pedagogical Institute in 1975 ^[3] .
