Criticism

Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences , chairman of the Commission on the fight against pseudoscience of the Russian Academy of Sciences E. B. Alexandrov noted in an interview: “In the West, by the way, horoscopes are the lot of the yellow press . And we even have “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” - a government publication! - prints predictions to all Capricorn and Taurus. This is a shame ” [23] .

The President of the Interregional Society for Pharmacoeconomic Research, the Deputy Chairman of the Formulary Committee of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences , Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor P. A. Vorobyov criticized the publication in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta of the article “Switzerland Decree to Us?” [24] on homeopathy . Vorobyov points out that the article is not labeled as “on the basis of advertising”, but contains the name of the clinic and, in general, according to Vorobyov, is “clearly a custom-made article”. The article, Vorobyov notes, refers to the treatment of cancer patients in this clinic, but the clinic’s documents do not contain instructions for oncology treatment, which is not compatible with licensing requirements. Vorobyov asks Roszdravnadzor to verify this fact: “It is a crime to me to introduce a huge number of sick people into tumor therapy methods. And not abstract, but quite criminal. ” Speaking about the inefficiency of homeopathy, Vorobyov also characterizes Dr. Irina Kuzmin, who tells in the article about homeopathy, as a “dangerous quack”. In addition, Vorobyov draws attention to the fact that the indicated clinic was previously advertised in the Rossiyskaya Gazeta [25] .

Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor at the Higher School of Economics , President of the Society of Evidence-Based Medicine Specialists V.V. Vlasov describes the article “Switzerland a decree for us?” As follows: “We almost certainly deal with jeans, and the most cynical one addressed to people who are willing to pay a lot in the last hope. For what? ”, Also speaking about the inefficiency of homeopathy [26] .

The Troitsky Variant - Science newspaper also published an “Open letter from medical journalists to the editor-in-chief of the Rossiyskaya Gazeta V. A. Fronin in connection with the publication of the article“ Switzerland decree to us? ”, Which states that the article is incompatible with“ ethical and professional standards ”and it is proposed to remove the article from the site in order to“ reduce the unconditional harm ”from it [27] .
