“Snow White fell in love” ( Eng. Snow Falls ) - the third episode of the American television series in the fantasy genre “ Once Upon a Time ”. The premiere of the series in the United States took place on November 6, 2011 on ABC . In the center of the episode is the story of the acquaintance of Snow White and the Beautiful Prince ; in Storybrooke, Mary Margaret Blanchard falls in love with an unknown patient in a coma hospital.

Story
In the Enchanted Forest
The coach of Prince Charming ( Joshua Dallas ) and his fiancee Abigail ( Anastasia Griffith ) stops on the way to the castle due to a tree lying on the road. While the prince is trying to clear the road, an unknown man in the hood is robbing a carriage. The prince chases after the thief, he manages to remove the hood from him, and this robber turns out to be Snow White ( Ginnifer Goodwin ). Snow White manages to escape, but later the prince manages to trap her. The prince demands to give back the stolen ring belonging to his mother. Snow White has already sold the stolen and together they are sent to return the ring from the trolls who bought it. Along the way, the prince rescues Snow White from the evil Queen's mercenaries. Trolls do not want to return the ring; Snow White, using magic pollen, turns them into insects and returns the ring to the prince.
In Storybrooke
Mary Margaret Blanchard (Snow White) returns after an unsuccessful date with Dr. Vale ( David Anders ), and sees Emma Swan ( Jennifer Morrison ). Emma has nowhere to live, and Mary offers her a room in her room. The next day, Mary visits an unknown man in a coma in the hospital (Prince Charming). Emma's son, Henry ( Jared Gilmore ), knows who they really are and believes that the spell will break if Mary reads the tale to the prince. Mary agrees, and while reading the patient takes her hand. Dr. Vale does not believe that the unknown could wake up and sends Mary home. The next day, the unknown patient disappears. Emma, Mary Margaret and the sheriff are looking for him in the forest and, at the prompt of Henry, find him on the “Troll Bridge”. The next day, Regina Mills brings Abigail / Katherine, the wife of David Nolan (real name of an unknown patient), to the hospital. Mary Margaret is upset; Emma agrees to move to her.

Filming
The script for the series was written by the producer of the series Liz Tayglara ; The director was Dean White who shot many episodes of the series Shield [1] .
During the filming, actress Ginnifer Goodwin received injuries to her arm and face as a result of a horse accident [2] . Goodwin also said that her colleague Jennifer Morrison , who played the House of the television series in several seasons, helped her during the filming of the scene with cardiopulmonary resuscitation [3] .
Ratings and reviews
The episode looked at 5% fewer viewers than was recorded in the previous series; however, the series retained its leadership in the time slot of ABC. The series received a rating of 3.7 among an audience aged 18-49; In total, the premiere of the episode was watched by 11.45 million viewers [4] . The series took second place among the programs that were broadcast at that time, losing to Football Night In America on NBC [5] [6] . In Canada, the premiere of the series was watched by 1.732 million viewers [7] . TV Fanatic made positive comments about the episode [8] .
