Biography

Member of World War II . In 1943, orphaned, he fled from Moscow to the front, ended up in a military unit serving front-line airfields (3-15 km from the front line ), served from 1943 to 1945 ( ordinary , son of the regiment ). After the war ended, he was brought up in the family of division commander Yenovk Mkrtychevich Topchiyan and captain of the medical service Elena Nikolaevna Pavlova.

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (1959). Pupil B.V. Wojciechowski [1] .

Since 1958, he worked in the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR , arrived with the first group of employees working in Orevo. Work biography associated with the Institute of Hydrodynamics (IGiL). For a long time (until 2007) he headed the gas detonation laboratory.

In 1962 he defended his thesis "The structure of single-headed spin detonation" [2] . In 1974, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science after defending his dissertation "Detonation Waves in Gases" [3] .

One of the organizers and the first head of the Design Bureau (now CTF) of the hydro-pulse technology of the IGiL SB RAS.

The author and co-author of 173 scientific works, including 2 scientific discoveries, 8 copyright certificates, 6 textbooks on the course of general physics.

He taught at Novosibirsk State University since 1963, an employee of the Department of Physical Hydrodynamics at the Physics Department of NSU. Under his leadership, 10 dissertations and 6 master's theses were completed. Among his students are 3 doctors of sciences. Honorary Professor of NSU . [four]

Creator of the first in the Academgorodok pop orchestra [5] [6] .

Scientific Results

Co-author of the discovery “Detonation Wave Instability in Gases” (together with B. V. Voitsekhovsky, V. V. Mitrofanov and scientists from the Institute of Chemical Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences ). Registered in the State register of discoveries of the USSR in March 1972.

Co-author of the discovery “The phenomenon of splitting of the wave (fine structure) of spin detonation” (together with B. V. Voitsekhovsky, V. V. Mitrofanov and employees of the Institute of Chemical Physics, USSR Academy of Sciences ). Registered in the State register of discoveries of the USSR in September 1973.
