Suhur ( Arabic: سحور ) is an Islamic term meaning eating early in the morning during the month of Ramadan .
Time
Food is eaten before prayer - fajr (before dawn) [1] . Sukhur and iftar (evening conversation) during Ramadan replace traditional three meals a day ( breakfast , lunch and dinner ) [1] .
Remuneration
It is advisable for Muslims to make Sukhur on the eve of the first signs of dawn, since the reward ( savab ) from Allah for the post in this case will be more . If the fasting person does not eat before dawn, then his fasting remains valid, but he will lose some of the reward, as he will not perform one of the actions related to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) .
