Basic Information
The medal "For the efforts to perfectly accomplish the general mobilization of 1914" is the medal of the Russian Empire for rewarding people who participated in the planning and organization of successful and quick mobilization. It was established on February 12, 1915 by Emperor Nicholas II under the regulation of the Council of Ministers . The decree was communicated to the Senate by the Minister of Justice I. G. Shcheglovitov [1] . This medal is considered the last medal of the Russian Empire [3] [4] [5] . This medal is apparently the first award in the world established in connection with the mobilization of the army [3] .
Service Order
Awarded persons who, in accordance with their official duties, participated in the planning or implementation of the mobilization . Also awarded carriers of troops, military and medical cargo [1] [3] [5] . From December 8, 1915, medals began to be received also by persons who conducted sports training for pre-conscription youth [1] [3] . The medal was issued free of charge [3] . The awarded received a certificate for the right to wear a medal.
Medal Description
The medal is made of light bronze . Diameter 28 mm. On the front side of the coin is a portrait of Nicholas II in profile, without any inscriptions and regalia. On the back there is a horizontal inscription in five lines:

In view of the large number of awards, in addition to the Mint, medals were also produced by private workshops. They differed mainly in image details. Often they had gilding . The main circulation (50,000 copies) was made at the St. Petersburg Mint [2] [5] . A frach version of a medal with a diameter of 15 mm is also known [6] .
Wear Order
The medal had an eyelet for attaching to a block or ribbon. The medal should be worn on the chest. The ribbon of the medal is a dark blue ribbon of the Order of the White Eagle . This is the only medal of the Russian Empire that used this tape [2] [3] [4] .
