Biography

Born in the village number 24 Chelkarsky district of Aktobe region of Kazakhstan . He graduated from the Workers' Faculty , then studied at the Alma-Ata Inter-Edge School of the NKGB of the USSR, from which he graduated in 1944. Higher education in the Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute named after Abay , graduating in absentia in 1956.

He began his career in 1936 and until 1943 he worked in various positions in the system of banking institutions of the Kyzyl-Orda region .

From 1943 to 1984 - in the NKVD / KGB of the USSR , where, among other things, he held the posts of head of the KGBETAV , Tselinograd , South Kazakhstan , Almaty Oblast KGB. In October 1977, Tanirbergen Zhalmagambetov was given the rank of Major General. In 1984 he retired from the KGB of the USSR.

From April 1984 to September 1988 - Director of the Kazakhstan Hotel in Almaty .

From 1991 until the end of his life, Tanirbergen Zhalmagambetov served as president of the antithesis charity association [1] (perpetuating the memory of those killed in the Second World War , as well as supporting children in Priaralye who suffered as a result of environmental disaster).

Engaged in journalism. He is the author of the novel “Trotsky in the Almaty Link” and the story “The Last Days of Professor Chayanov”. [2]
