AlfieKabillo ( Croatian Alfi Kabiljo December 22, 1935, Zagreb, Croatia) - Croatian composer, musician, conductor and arranger. He has been writing music for more than 6 decades [2] , having created music for more than 40 films during this time, having written more than 100 soundtracks, 11 musicals, 2 musical films and 2 ballets. His musicals put on different stages more than 2 thousand times [2] [3] .

Kabillo wrote his first song at the age of 8 [2] . He studied music with the Croatian composer Rudolf Matz, and then entered the music school of Vatroslav Lisinsky . Roger Samyn ( 3 ) helped him freshen up his music making skills. Although he received a degree in architecture from the University of Zagreb , he never used it [2] . Kabillo spent most of his life in the prestigious suburb of Zagreb, Šalata, but also spent some time in Paris [4] .
Alfi Cabillo began his professional career in 1957 . His songs were performed by popular Croatian performers at national and international festivals. In recent decades, Alfi Cabillo has consistently served on the jury of authoritative song contests. In the late 1950s and 1960s , Kabiljo lived for a long time in London , was a regular at theaters in the West End , where the genre of rock opera (or rock musical) was born.
Alfi Kabillo was the chairman of the Croatian Society of Composers ( Croatian Hrvatsko društvo skladatelja ) and a member of the International Federation of Festival Organizations ( Fr. Féderation Internationale d es O rganisations de F estivals , FIDOF) [3] . He is friends with many movie stars, in particular with Sharon Stone , whom he agreed with while working on the Hollywood thriller Scissors (1991).
Alfi Kabillo is the author of a huge number of soundtracks, including for foreign films, as well as numerous TV sagas on Croatian television. In particular, Kabillo wrote the music for the recognized masterpiece of Croatian cinematography, which was awarded prizes at many film festivals - the military drama “ The Occupation in 26 Pictures ” (1978), directed by Lord Zafranovich.
The most famous and most recognized work of Kabillo is the music for the musical “ Yalta, Yalta ” (1971), for which in 2004 the composer received the national musical prize “Porin” ( Porin ) as for magnum opus [3] .
