It is part of the Sidorovsky Municipal Formation (from January 1, 2006 to April 9, 2009 it was part of the Lezhsky Municipal Formation) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the center of the Anokhinsky Village Council.
The distance to the regional center of Gryazovets by road is 36 km, to the center of the Sidorovo municipality in a straight line - 12 km. The nearest settlements are Gerasimovo , Panovo , Baklanka , Khlebnikovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 334 people (155 men, 179 women). The entire population is Russian [3] .
