It is part of the Komyansk municipal formation [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Vederkovsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Gryazovets by road is 43 km, to the center of the municipality of Khoroshevo in a straight line - 16 km. The nearest settlements are Kashino , Volnoye-Syrishchevo , Barskoye-Syrishchevo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 3 people [2] .
