Included in the Kom'yansk municipal formation [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division , into Vederkovskiy village council.
The distance to the district center of Gryazovets on the highway is 39 km, to the center of the municipal entity Khoroshevo in a straight line - 11 km. The nearest settlements are Zarechye , Bushuikh , Mountain , Nadorozhny Lipovik .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 84 people (41 men, 43 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (99%) [2] .
In the village there is a shop and a medical center.
Village Day is celebrated in early July. July 19, 2014 celebrated the 386th anniversary of the village.
