It is part of the Komyansky municipal formation [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Komyansky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Gryazovets is 22 km, to the center of the municipality of Khoroshevo - 9 km. The nearest settlements are Anninsky , Timonino , Semenkovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 8 people [2] .
