It is part of the Komyansky municipal formation [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Komyansky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Gryazovets is 24.1 km, to the center of the municipal formation Khoroshevo - 4.5 km. The nearest settlements are Arefino , Bolshoy Kostino , Tufanovo , Bolshoy Denisyevo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 4 people [2] .
