It is part of the Rostilovsky municipality [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Rostilovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Gryazovets is 11 km, to the center of the municipality of Rostilovo - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Studenets , Krokhino , Bolshoy Kosikovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
