It is part of the Vokhtozh municipality [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Vokhtog village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Gryazovets is 58.5 km, to the center of the Vokhtogi municipality - 2 km. The nearest settlements - Glubokoe , Vokhtoga , Tarasovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 82 people (38 men, 44 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (99%) [2] .
