It is part of the Vokhtozh municipality [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Vokhtog village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Gryazovets is 58 km, to the center of the Vokhtogi municipality - 1 km. The nearest settlements are Chukharitsa , Glubokoe , Vokhtoga , Tarasovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 52 people (26 men, 26 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
