“ Builder ” is a stadium in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny , the Republic of Tatarstan . It is one of the largest sports facilities in the city. History
The stadium is one of the oldest sports arenas in Naberezhnye Chelny . Construction of the stadium began in the late 1970s in the Old Town. As a result, in 1979, citizens received a sports facility, where they could organize a full-fledged training process, as well as hold competitions at the republican and even Russian levels [1] . The Builder has always been a favorite platform for mass physical training, a venue for the Olympics of the Kamgesenergostroy production association and other amateur competitions. Every winter, starting in 1981, a skating rink for mass skating was poured on the football field. From 1983 to 1986, the Sambo section and athletic gymnastics also worked at the stadium. In addition, weightlifters trained at the stadium.
In the 1970s - 1980s, the stadium was the home arena of the Turbina football club, which played in the second league of the national championship.
Up until 1991, the stadium was the sports base of the Office of Sports Facilities of the trade union committee of PO Kamgesenergostroy and the voluntary sports society Trud, under the flag of which were building athletes. After 1995, the stadium was transferred to the balance of the management of physical culture, sport and tourism of the city hall of Naberezhnye Chelny [1] . In 2001 - 2006, the football club Saturn held their home games at the stadium.
Present
Currently, the stadium is the functioning of the Sports School "Builder" , which includes offices in three sports: football , boxing , weightlifting . Also, the stadium is a traditional venue for city holidays - Victory Day , Sabantuy , Builder 's Day . The sports contest of medical workers, republican competitions in fire-applied sports and many other competitions are held in its field [1] .

Since 2016, the stadium is being reconstructed [2] [3] .

The capacity of the stands is 9120 people, of which:
- Western (central) tribune: 6720 people
lower tier: 3360 people.
upper tier: 3456 people.
- Eastern tribune: 2400 people.
Interesting Facts
- Before the entrance to the stadium, one of the most unusual sculptural compositions in Naberezhnye Chelny was installed - the “Sculpture of a Rugby Player”, the author of which is Ildar Khanov [4] .
- In August 2009, a non-stop relay race was held at the Stroitel Stadium for 30 hours and 49 minutes, which entered the Russian record book as the longest relay race. In total, 4,799 people took part in the relay, running a total length of 60,720 meters [5] .
- On August 15, 2012, the second Russian national football team held a training session at the Stroitel Stadium before the match with the Belgian youth national football team [6] .
