Geography
Salinas is located on the 39th km of the inter-resort highway ( Spanish Ruta Interbalnearia ), at its intersection with highway No. 87. It borders on the resorts of Pinamar - Pinepark (in the west) and Marindia (in the east).
History
On July 1, 1982, Salinas received city status ( Ciudad ) [1] .
