It is located on the Uda River (at the confluence of the Derevka and Revka rivers), 24 km north of the regional center Bezhanitsy .

The population of the village is 109 inhabitants (2000). [one]

Until June 3, 2010, the village was part of the now abolished Novo-Kuznetsovskaya volost with its center in the village of Ubliska .
