Below is a list of all the Olympic champions from Ukraine. In total, 41 athletes received gold medals at the Olympic Games (36 at the Summer Olympics and 5 at the Winter). In the list, athletes are sorted by the number of gold medals, then alphabetically.
Olympic Games
The first Olympic champion of independent Ukraine was the figure skater Oksana Bayul ( and still the only champion at the Winter Olympics in individual competitions ), the first champion of the Summer Games was the Greco-Roman style wrestler Vyacheslav Oleynik .

On August 18, 2004, the gold medal was won by athlete Yuri Belonog , but on December 1, 2012, by the decision of the IOC Disciplinary Commission, he was deprived of the medal due to the banned drug found in the doping test. [3] Champions of the Winter Olympic Games In total, 41 people won gold medals for Ukraine: 18 men and 23 women, of which one athlete became a champion 4 times, two more people - twice. Rustam Sharipov twice became an Olympic champion, representing different countries: in 1992 he became a champion as a representative of the United Team, and in 1996 - as a representative of Ukraine.
The youngest athlete on the day of winning the medal was the skater Oksana Bayul , who won the medal at the age of 16 and 101 days, the youngest champions of the Summer Games were gymnast Lilia Podkopaeva and fencer Olga Harlan (both won medals at the age of 17 years and 345 days), the most the shooter Arthur Ayvazyan , who won the medal at the age of 35 years and 214 days, became the old Olympic champion.
