The parliamentary elections in Laos in 1955 were held on December 25th. [1] Four political parties participated in the elections, with the National Progressive Party led by Prince Suvanne Fuma winning 22 out of 39 seats in the national assembly. [2] The turnout at the polls was 75.6%.
