“LaserLight” is a song by British singer Jessie J from her debut album Who You Are . The song was written by Jesse in collaboration with French DJ David Guetta [1] . The song was released May 13 in the UK, becoming the seventh and final single from the album [2] . Ahead of its release, the single reached dozens of UK charts, becoming the sixth single by Jesse to reach dozens of the chart.

About the song
After recording the song “Repeat,” Getta and Jesse returned to the studio and recorded the song “LaserLight” for Who You Are (Platinum Edition) [3] . Jesse describes the song as a “flickering dance pop track” [4] . During an interview for BBC Radio 1, on February 17, 2012, it was announced that “LaserLight” would be the seventh single from the album. The video for the song was released on April 10 [5] . According to the notes published on Musicnotes.com, the song is written in C major with a tempo of 128 beats per minute. Vocal Jessie J covers the range from F ♯ 3 to E5 [6] .
Criticism
The song received positive reviews from critics. Many of them praised Jesse's strong vocals and noted the resemblance to Getta's other work, the song “Titanium”, recorded with Australian singer Sia . Most fans said the song was the leader among the three songs recorded for Who You Are (Platinum Edition). Digital Spy called the song "a full hit" and gave four out of five stars [7] .
Music video
On March 7, 2012, during her Heartbeat Tour, she announced that the filming and editing of the video had already been completed. The premiere of the clip took place on YouTube on the official channel of Jesse on April 9, 2012. David Guetta does not appear in the video.
