Mirabilis long-flowered ( Latin Mirabilis longiflora ) is a species of flowering plants of the genus Mirabilis ( Mirabilis ) of the Niktagin family ( Nyctaginaceae ).

Botanical Description
Perennial herbaceous plant 50-150 cm tall. Has thin erect stems starting to branch from the base. Petiolate leaves , 6-11.5 cm long and 3-7 cm wide, ovate or lanceolate-ovate, bright green.
Inflorescences are apical or axillary , very compact, with linear bracts . The bell-shaped bedspread formed by them is 1-1.5 cm long, with unequal triangular or lanceolate lobes.
The flowers are white, with a perianth 8-17 cm long. There are 5 stamens .
Fruit - achene , dark, elliptical or oblong, about 8 mm long and 5 mm wide.
It blooms at night, at this time the flowers exude a strong aroma.
Distribution
It lives in the southwestern United States from Arizona to Texas and northern Mexico .
