General information
The population is 804 people (2009) [1] . It covers an area of 42 km². The basis of the local economy is winemaking, tourism, crafts and agriculture. The festival takes place on the last Sunday of August.
History
The settlement was under the control of the Dukes of Gascony , then Aquitaine , and in 1191, as a result of the marriage of Princess Berengaria of Navarre , daughter of King Sancho VI , with Richard I passed to the Kingdom of Navarre .
Oses had the status of a canton, but lost it after the French Revolution.
