Content
History
In the 1930s, the originally emerged street was called Newly Designed Driveway [1] . From 1955 to 1965, the street was called 8th Kozhukhovskaya Street [1] [2] .
In 1965 it was renamed in honor of Peter Ivanovich Romanov - a pilot , Hero of the Soviet Union , who died near Berlin [1] . The street was renamed at the request of the workers of the 1st Bearing Plant, where he worked as a locksmith, in connection with the 20th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people over Nazi Germany [3] . The name of the street was approved on April 5 of the same year [2] .
Location
The street starts from 7th Kozhukhovskaya Street and runs parallel to the South Port Street to the southeast. It crosses the 6th and 5th streets along the way. Numbering of houses - from the 7th Kozhukhovskaya street.
