Sapikan ( isp. Zapicán ) is a settlement in the Lavalleja department, in the south-east of Uruguay .

History
The village was formed in September 1891 under the name Pablo Fernandez. June 9, 1913 received the status of the village ( Pueblo ) [1] .
Geography
Located 24 km east of the city of José Batlje-and-Ordonez and 123 km north of the administrative center of the department, the city of Minas . Sapikan is located at an altitude of 231 m above sea level.
