Solis de Matajoho ( Spanish Solís de Mataojo ) is a small town in the southern part of the Lavalleja department, in the south-east of Uruguay .

Geography
Located 37 south-west of the city of Minas , 70 km north-west of Punta del Este and 80 km north-east of the country's capital, the city of Montevideo . Through the city passes the road number 8.
History
It was founded on August 12, 1874 [1] . Received the status of a small town ( Villa ) October 15, 1963 according to the decree number 13.167 [2] .
Economy
The city's economy is based on fish processing and meat processing industries.
