It is located on the Lochkina River 60 kilometers north of Pskov , on the 58K-405 highway of Lochkino - Terebishche .

In the village is the Intercession Church, built in 1812. There is a small shop and a closed liaison office. Bus route number 318 Pskov - Balsovo runs on the village on Wednesdays 2 flights (in the morning and in the evening), on Fridays and Sundays 1 flight (in the evening) for taking out on weekends and returning to the city.
