Andrew Lawrence "Drew" Nicholas ( born Andrew Lawrence "Drew" Nicholas ; born May 17, 1981 in Hempstead , New York , USA ) is an American professional basketball player who completed his career. He played the position of attacking defender . In the Euroleague in the 2005/2006 season he became the most productive player, scoring an average of 18.4 points per match, and won the Alfonso Ford Prize .

Career
High School and University
In high school, from 1995 to 1999, he played for the team of the ( New York ). In 1999-2003 played for the Maryland Terrapins team at the University of Maryland (College Park) .
Professional career
In 2003, he signed a contract with the Fabriano Basket team from the second division of the Italian Championship (Serie B), at the end of the season he became the most productive player in the Second Division with an average score of 27.1 points per game. The following season he moved to the Livorno team (Serie A) and here he also became the most productive player (22.8 per game). In the same year, he signed a contract before the end of the season with the Spanish team Tau Ceramics. In the 2005-2006 season returned to the Italian championship by signing a contract with Benetton, and became the most productive player in the Euroleague as part of the club. In 2006-2007 moved to the Turkish club "Ephesus Pilsen".
June 24, 2008 signed a two-year contract with Panathinaikos. [1] As part of the Greek club, he twice won the Euroleague, became the champion of Greece and the owner of the Greek Cup. In June 2011, he signed a contract with the Italian Milan, but in January 2012 the club terminated the contract.
On June 13, 2012, in the status of a free agent, he signed a contract with PBC CSKA under the 1 + 1 scheme. [2] The contract with CSKA was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties on November 23, 2012. [3] The team held 9 official games.
