History
The tower was built in 1927, on the then still deserted outskirts of the city, and is still the high-rise dominant of the city. Until recently, it is in disrepair, and is privately owned by one of the entrepreneurs in the city. In the spring of 2013, the restoration of the tower, as well as the construction of an annex to it, began. A two-story shopping complex is planned to be located in a tower and an outbuilding.
