Content
AppearanceThe main color is green. The color of the back is green with a golden yellow tint. The top of the head, nadhvoste and the upper covering feathers of the tail are carmine red. The strip on the wing and the spot on the throat are also carmine red. Females do not have a red color in the upper part of the head. The beak is red.
DistributionThey live on the islands of Sulawesi , Butung , Muna and Togian .
LifestyleInhabit subtropical and tropical rainforests .
ClassificationThe view includes three subspecies:
- Loriculus stigmatus stigmatus is an endemic to the island of Sulawesi.
- Loriculus stigmatus croconotus - lives on the islands of Butung and Moon.
- Loriculus stigmatus quadricolor - lives on the islands of Togian.
