Biography

In 1931-1934 studied at the school of factory apprenticeship . In 1935 he entered the 1st Moscow Medical Institute . In 1940, at the end of 4 courses of the institute [2] , he was drafted into the Red Army . He served as commander of the 309th separate medical battalion of the 303rd rifle division of the Reserve Front (since August 1941), commander of the 108th separate medical battalion of the 193rd rifle division (Reserve Front - October 1941, Western Front , Central front - March-September 1943). In 1942 he joined the CPSU (b) . In 1943-1944 - Division physician of the 194th Infantry Division ( Belorussian , 1st Belorussian fronts ). Until the end of the war - assistant to the head of the 1st department of the 116th Directorate of the field evacuation point (1st Belorussian Front).

In 1946 he graduated from advanced training courses for doctors at the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Studies . In 1946-1951 served in the Personnel Directorate of the Main Military Medical Directorate of the USSR Ministry of Defense . Colonel of the medical service (1951).

Since 1951 - instructor of the Administrative Department of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks . Since 1954 - Deputy Minister of Health of the RSFSR, then - Head of the Department of External Relations of the Ministry of Health of the USSR From December 10, 1962 to April 21, 1983 - Minister of Health of the RSFSR . He was a member of the Presidium of the Union of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the USSR [3] .

In 1971 he was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR [4] .

Since April 1983 - retired.

He was buried at the Don cemetery [5] .
