The International Wushu Federation ( eng. International Wushu Federation , IWUF , China. Уп 武术 联合会 ) is an international sports organization dedicated to the development of sports wushu . It was founded on October 3, 1990. Located in Beijing .
In 1990, the federation organized wushu competitions at the XI Summer Asian Games . Since 1991, the federation has been hosting wushu world championships. The president, from 2003 to the present, is Master Yu Zaizin [1] .
The federation includes more than 100 local federations organizing local competitions, including the European Wushu Federation (EWUF), as well as, since 1991, the Russian Wushu Federation .
