Biography

Anastasia Ketova was born on December 14, 1918 in a peasant family in the village of Sakinovo (now Cherdynsky District, Perm Region ). She graduated from the seven-year school, then in 1938 the Tobolsk Medical School. She worked as the head of the Podrezovsky medical center of the Tyumen region . In July 1941, Ketova was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . Participated in the battles of the Great Patriotic War on the Volkhov , Leningrad , 3rd Baltic fronts. In July 1945, Ketov was demobilized as a junior lieutenant of the medical service [1] .

Since 1945, she lived in the Smolensk region . In 1945-1973 , Ketova was in charge of the Noskovsky medical center of the Monastyrshchinsky district . Thanks to her work, this first-aid post became the best among similar institutions of the region [1] .

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 4, 1969, “Anastasia Ketova was awarded the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] for" great achievements in the health of the Soviet people. "

For thirty years she was a deputy of the village Council of People's Deputies. Since 1973, she lived in Smolensk , worked as a nurse of the regional dental clinic. In 1978 she retired. She died on January 4, 1999, was buried in the Odintsovo cemetery of Smolensk [1] .

She was also awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, a number of medals and the badge " Excellence in Medical Service of the USSR " [1] .
