Vinogradov, Nikolai Arkadevich

In 1934 he graduated from the 2nd Leningrad Medical Institute . In 1934-1936 worked as a surgeon, chief physician of the Krasnochikoy district hospital, headed the Krasnochikoy district health department ( East Siberian Territory ).

In 1938 he graduated from the graduate school of the 2nd Leningrad Medical Institute. In 1938, he was the chief physician of the I. I. Mechnikov hospital (Leningrad).

In 1938-1940 - Director of the Leningrad Institute for Advanced Medical Studies . In 1940 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences.

Since 1940 - Deputy People's Commissar of Health of the RSFSR for personnel, Deputy Minister of Health of the USSR.

From 1949 until the end of his life, he headed the department of social hygiene and healthcare organization at the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Studies . At the same time since 1951, he headed the N. A. Semashko Institute of Health Organization and the History of Medicine, as well as the State Publishing House of Medical Literature .

From April 10, 1959 to November 14, 1962 - Minister of Health of the RSFSR .

In 1959 he was elected to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR ^[2] .

March 1, 1966 was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR in the department of preventive medicine ^[3] .
