Biography
Born in 1907 in the city of Cherepovets, Novgorod Province . He began his career in 1924 , served as a draftsman, was in administrative, Komsomol and party work.
In 1929 he served in the OGPU , worked as an assistant to the authorized in the Myaksinsky district of the Cherepovets district department of the OGPU, then from 1932 the head of the Ustyuzhensky regional department of the OGPU, from 1935 the head of the Luga regional department of the ULAAR of the Leningrad region . From 1938 he was appointed head of the Krasnogvardeisky district department of the UNKVD in Leningrad .
From 1940 he was appointed Deputy Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh SSR , and from 1943 the People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Kazakh SSR . From 1946 he was appointed head of the Main Directorate of Highways of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs .
From 1948 he was appointed Deputy Minister of the Interior of the USSR , at the same time holding the position of Chief of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region . Since 1953, he headed the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leningrad Region .
From 1955 he was appointed Deputy Minister of the Interior of the RSFSR . In 1959, by a decision of the Central Committee of the CPSU , Bogdanov was dismissed from the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for "violating socialist legality." In the same year, the Party Control Committee under the Central Committee of the CPSU was expelled from the party. In 1960, was reinstated in the party.
After opals he worked in the construction and installation trust of the USSR Ministry of General Machine-Building . He died on November 23, 1972 in Moscow .
