Yakuake launches operations faster than using hotkeys , because the program is already loaded into memory. The design of the program was taken by the developers from the inspiration of the floating panel in the Quake game, which smoothly slid down from the top of the screen when a key was pressed and also smoothly rose up when a key was pressed again.
Yakuake supports working with tabs , customizing the appearance, for example, you can customize the appearance of window transparency.
In the emulator, it is most convenient to run console audio / media players (for example, such as Music On Console ). Yakuake is not part of the standard KDE distribution.
