History
Created in 1989 in Leningrad to unite those who survived the Siege of Leningrad . The first leader of the organization was Alexander Matveyevich Nesterov. In 1992, the International Blockade Association appeared, which at the time of its creation included 21 regional organizations (including the St. Petersburg public organization). Currently, IAB unites more than 80 societies in the Russian Federation and abroad.
