It is located 8 km east of the volost center of Kirov , south of the village of Zaitsevo .

History
From 1918 to 1928, the village was the center of the Volcheyamsky village council, renamed in 1928 the Rashnevsky village council (along the village of Rashnevo ), which in 1954 was included in the Moskvinsky village council [4] . From 1995 to 2010, it was part of the Moskvinsky volost ; from January 1, 2011 - to the Krasnoprudsky volost [5] [6] .
