- Advanced Technology Systems - develops solutions that are used in production processes, such as surface preparation, dosing of materials, testing (including using x-rays), and is also involved in the electronic and related high-tech industries that use the following systems:
- Industrial coating systems - provides both standard and non-standard equipment, which is mainly used for coating, paints, finishing materials, sealants , etc.
History [1]
Nordson Corporation was established in 1954 in Ohio , USA . The predecessor of the corporation was the American company Automatic Co., which already in 1909 carried out mass production of screw components for the automotive industry. In 1935, the partnership was reorganized into a corporation under the leadership of Walter Nord and refocused on the production of high-precision parts and equipment. In the 50s, the corporation patented the method of "hot airless" spraying of paints and other materials. In the mid-60s, Nordson became a pioneer in the field of technology and equipment for applying powder paints using a cartridge powder recovery system. In the same 60s, based on the mentioned method of "hot airless" spraying, equipment was developed for applying thermoplastic adhesives , better known as hot -melt adhesives, for gluing cardboard boxes.
Subsequently, through the creation of new adhesive technologies and equipment, Nordson became a leader in adhesive applications such as packaging , manufacturing disposable sanitary products, applying sealants, replacing bonding in the automotive industry, assembling electrical boards in electronics, etc.
In 1967, Nordson Deutschland GmbH, based in Düsseldorf, began operations in Germany. In 1989, the Nordson Engineering GmbH division was established on the basis of the Meltex enterprise, which designs and manufactures installations for the preparation of hot-melt glue and a system for applying hot -melt glue to rolled materials and web.
