Geographical position
The village is located in the south of the Pskov region about 17 kilometers south-east of the district center, the city of Nevel and 3 kilometers from the border with Belarus .
In 5 versts to the east was the village of Boriskovo , now the natural boundary Boriskovo . At 4 miles to the east was the village of Gnilovo , now the Gnilovo Tract .

The population of the village in 2000 was 246 inhabitants [1] , in 2011 - 206 inhabitants.

Transportation
