NextGen Series 2011/2012

NextGen Series 2011/12 - The 1st draw of the NextGen Series tournament - the youth analogue of the Champions League . This competition, which was attended by teams of 16 European clubs, composed of players under 19 years old.

The final took place on March 25, 2012 at the Brisbane Road Stadium in London . The winner of the tournament was the Italian Internazionale , who beat the Dutch Ajax in the penalty shoot-out after the main time ended with a score of 1-1.

The top scorers were Dane Victor Fischer from Ajax and Cameroonian Jean-Marie Dongu from Barcelona , who scored 7 goals.
