Yash-Eb-Shok (literally Green Shark ; also Yash-Moche-Shok [1] , I century AD. [2] [1] ) - the first known ruler of the ancient Mayan kingdom Mutul with its capital in Tikal [1] .

Biography
Yash-Eb-Shok rules in the I century AD. er (according to other estimates - between 219 and 238 AD [3] ) and in several later texts is called the founder of the First Tikal dynasty , despite the fact that the existence of earlier rulers was established (perhaps he united Tikal dynasties or was especially successful in military affairs) [1] [3] . He came from the “Hills of Agave” - a semi-legendary ancestral home, from which also the rulers of the Kanul kingdom , Yashchilan and the first dynasty of the rulers of Copan originated . The Agave Hills are usually identified either with the giant pre-classical city center of El Mirador , north of Tikal, or with the very large early city settlement of Kaminaljuyu (within the present Guatemala City ). Possible burial Yash-Eb-Shok - "burial 85", located in the center of the Northern Acropolis [1] .
After Yash-Eb-Shok over the course of the I — III centuries, 7 rulers ascended the throne, whose names are unknown.
