Biography
Orthodox, a peasant in the village of Bolshoi Agishev of the Agishevsky volost of the Shatsky district [2] .
He graduated from the county school . He owned 112 tithes of his own and 4.5 allotment land. He was engaged in agriculture, as well as in grain and forest trade, and was chairman of the board of the Bolshe-Agishevsky credit partnership . For four years before being elected to the Duma, he served as a volost foreman , and was a fellow chairman of the Tambov department of the Union of Russian People [2] .
In 1907 he was elected a member of the III State Duma from the congress of commissioners from the volosts of the Tambov province. He was a member of the moderate-right faction, from the 3rd session - in the Russian national faction. He was a member of the commissions: on local self-government, budgetary, on measures to combat alcoholism, on resettlement matters, on changing the legislation on peasants, in the direction of legislative assumptions on Nazaz. He advocated the abolition of the rural community :
I belong to the supporters of the bill under discussion .. because the bill on November 9th gives us rights that we still did not have in the community that oppressed us, and now we finally got to the point where we want to throw this yoke away, and the supporters of freedoms do not want to give us this freedom; I will tell them that they are not supporters of freedom, but supporters of oppression and guardianship [3] .
The further fate is unknown. He was married [2] .
